Frequently Asked Questions about Wedding Flowers

Thank you for your interest in our services for your up-coming wedding. We hope you'll find the following information helpful as you plan your special day.

Q: How much do wedding flowers cost?
A: Every wedding is different in size, formality, location, theme, and budget. We have worked with our brides to create beautiful bouquets and reception decoration for budgets ranging from $50 to $5000. Attached is a price list of general ranges for some standard wedding items that may help you in setting up your flower & decor budget. The price ranges are broad, as stem prices vary greatly among flower types and the season in which they are requested. Since many brides plan up to a year in advance, we can only provide an estimate of cost at the initial consultation. We will have firm numbers closer to the event time.

Q: How are wedding flowers priced? Are they priced by the stem/arrangement/person?
A: Flower type/stem cost, supplies, and design labor are the basis for bouquet and arrangement prices. We summarize the costs for you per bouquet, corsage, arrangement, etc.

Q: Can I see pictures of your work?
A: Absolutely. We have a portfolio of some of our wedding work online and in our store for you to browse.

Q: Can you match my colors?
A: We do our very best to match and complement your colors. Some colors like teal or navy blue can be difficult to match in flowers, but there are many complementing colors of flowers, ribbon, trim, and decor that make it possible to bring your colors to life.

Q: Do you have books that I can look through to get ideas?

A: Yes, we have an assortment of books to help you get started. We also find that many brides find inspiration online. Feel free to bring photos to your consultation, email photos, or invite us to follow your wedding board on Pinterest.

Q: Is there a fee for a consultation with you?
A: No. Our consultations are free!

Information that is helpful to have for the consultation:
  1. Date, time, and location of the wedding ceremony. The time of year and location of your wedding can play a large role in determining the types of flowers available, the formality of the event, and the extent of decoration desired for the venue.
  2. What color(s) have you chosen and have you purchased your dress and your bridesmaid's dresses? It's not uncommon to change wedding colors when you actually begin shopping for bridesmaid's dresses. Once the color is a firm choice, then it is safe to select flowers to match and/or complement the dress color(s).
  3. How large is your wedding party? When we know the size of the wedding party we are better equipped to suggest bouquet styles and flowers that can help you get the most out of your flower and decor budget.
  4. Do you have a budget for your wedding flowers and event decoration? It's important to have at least a rough idea what your budget for flowers will be. Knowing this will help us to provide appropriate suggestions for flowers types, bouquet styles, decoration options, and more.

As you begin the process of setting up your floral budget keep in mind that flower type, color, seasonal availability, and bouquet size all play a significant role in prices.
