Hanging Baskets
We create hundreds of hanging basket each year. From single variety baskets (impatiens, geraniums, calibrachoa, petunias, and more) to mixed annuals in beautiful wire and coco fiber lined baskets.
Tips for creating your own blooming patio container!
1. For best results, use a container that has drainage hole(s) in the bottom2. If you re-use containers from year to year, be sure to dump last years soil and throughly clean the container before filling.
3. Decide where the finished container will be used and how much sunlight it will get during the day.
4. Choose your plants carefully based on the results of question 3.
For example - if your container will be in full sun (6 or more hours/day) then you may want to avoid impatiens, and instead use geraniums as they will perform better under those conditions. Also, consider the vigor of the plants chosen - too many vigorous (aggressive growers) in a container can choke out the other, less vigorous plants quickly)
5. Don't overcrowd by using too many plants for the container. Remember, they will continue to grow and fill out the container during the season.
6. Remember to keep your containers properly watered and fertilized throughout the season.
